Dr. Harris and the whole staff are amazing! I researched vets who performed acupuncture and found Pets First. Since I have been coming here, my dog's arthritis is 100x better! I also started bringing my 2 year old pug mix here as well. She loved it too! All exams, check-ups, etc. for all of my pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) will now be here! Everyone is so nice, helpful and friendly too! Thank you!!

If you're looking for a vet that truly goes above and beyond, this is the place for you. Around 5:30 PM, I started calling all of the vets in my area to see if anyone would see my sick kitten. Even the places that closed at 8 were unwilling to see me. I spoke with John at Pets first at 5:45. He got Dr. Heyde on the phone, I explained the situation, and he agreed to see me. Please note that they close at 6. My kitten was seen by a tech and Dr. Heyde. They gave him fluids, prescribed a new antibiotic, and the whole staff pitched in to teach my husband and I how to tube feed him. They spent an hour and a half with us, when they were supposed to be closed, to make sure that the kitten received the best possible care. I have never seen this level of love for a patient, not even a human patient. Thank you to everyone at Pets First. As long as I live in this area, I will never take my pets anywhere else!
I have been using Pets First, first with Dr. Guiliani and now with Dr. Heyde since the early '70's. They are my primary care vets for all of my dogs and cats. They don't recommend unnecessary tests or vaccinations or treatments. The staff is very knowledgeable and everyone is friendly. I especially like the fact that Gabrielle Heyde is extraordinarily knowledgeable about animal nutrition and "holistic" means of treatment are alternatives to traditional medicine. As an added benefit, Dr. Heyde is a terrific surgeon.

Always easy to get an appointment. Sometimes there is a wait time before being seen, but we never mind, because whenever extra time is needed for our pets they get it. In addition, if something of an urgent nature comes up they will handle it if they can. We have used this practice for 10+ years for our cats and dogs. They have good diagnostic ability, and also advise on alternative treatments and nutrition., The staff is friendly and responsive. If they treated people we'd be their patients, too!!!!
When I moved from the city, I did some vet-shopping,. I chose Pets First (third place I visited) because (a) they were very willing to show me around, and (b) the premises smelled as good a my living room (fresh, not artificially scented) I keep coming back because of the great care Dr Giuliani has given my cats in the 11 years I've been taking them to her. She even "took care" of me when I freaked out over 1 cat's FIV+ status ( these are my 1st pets). Her sensitivity was displayed when she recommended a later visit for my schizo-cat, advising a kitty-calmant: "Her heart is racing too fast; she's terrified". The staff are appropriately friendly, always polite and willing to explain things. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, nor have I minded paying for the services given my pets. You don;t go cheap when you're dealing with your children or your pets.
These people are great. They are professional and really love animals. Everyone on the staff is super educated in dogs and cats and remembers you every time you enter. The examination rooms are clean and they have the most up-to-date technology. The prices are not cheap, but the service and expertise make this Vet worth every penny.
