Greenwich Animal Hospital is open and ready to see patients either as appointments or as drop offs. These are stressful times for all, and the last thing you need is to worry about your pet’s health while we navigate through the ongoing health threat of COVID-19.

Curbside Care:

In an effort to keep everyone – you, your pet, and our staff – safe and healthy, we continue to offer curbside service to our clients, for both pets with appointments and for drop-offs. Notify us upon your arrival and we will send a team member to retrieve your pet from the passenger side or back of your car and bring them inside to see the veterinarian. Your pet should be safely restrained with a leash for dogs and a carrier for cats. We request that you put on a mask before a staff member approaches your car.

Please call us when you arrive at the parking lot or, for quicker check-in, text just the word HELLO to the same regular hospital number, (203) 869-0534, and wait for a reply. Texting is for pet appointments and drop-offs only.  For food, medication, or other pet care needs, please call the office.

Pet items you call ahead to purchase will be labeled and placed in bins outside the front door within one hour of calling. Please wear a mask when you leave your car. Our office staff will take your credit card information over the phone or use the now encrypted number you gave us at your last visit.

For scheduled appointments, the veterinarian will call you on your cell phone while you wait in your car. We will be making several calls to you while you wait. Please answer phone calls from unknown callers.

If you prefer not to wait, you may also drop your pet off with us. Our veterinarians will examine your pet  and we’ll contact you when your pet is ready to go home. Please call to confirm availability.

Curbside and drop-off services will be offered to limit your public exposure and still maintain your pet's veterinary care. Think of them as VIP valet service for your pet!

If you're feeling under the weather yourself, we ask you to please take very special precautions, for the safety of our staff, our clients, our patients - and for your own health, as well.

If you are feeling at all unwell, have tested positive for COVID-19, or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please either

- Arrange for someone else to bring your pet in, or
- If your pet is scheduled for a wellness visit and isn’t sick, please call us to reschedule your appointment.

We have always had extensive daily cleaning protocols that keep our facilities clean and sanitary. In addition to our regular daily cleaning we have also added additional cleaning/disinfecting protocols for extra protection, per the CDC's recommendations.

Thank you very much for working with us while we find ways to continue caring for our patients while keeping everyone healthy and safe. Please call us as we would be happy to answer any questions!

Thank you for trusting Greenwich Animal Hospital with the care of your pet's health.
