Dear Pine Mountain Veterinary friends,

These are stressful times for all, and the last thing you need is to worry about your pet’s health while we navigate through the current health threat of COVID-19. That’s why at this time, we are open, with some changes to our hours.  We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. As always not available between 12:15 and 1:45 PM.  We are closed all day on Wednesday.  We anticipate these changes to be in effect at least through the end of April. Please use your PetSites account, text 678-929-5935 or email (add our new shorter email to your list: mailmyvet@gmail.com) as much as possible to leave the phone available for curbside service.

Now offering curbside service.
In an effort to keep everyone – you, your pet, and our staff – safe and healthy, we will be providing curbside service to our clients, for both pets with appointments and also for picking up supplies like food and medication.

For patient appointments: please pull into a space nearest our front door and call us upon your arrival, and we will send a team member to retrieve your pet from your car and bring your pet inside. Please make sure your pet is safely restrained with a leash that cannot slip over the head and/or crate for dogs and a carrier for cats.

While waiting for your pet, please pull into another spot, leaving an open space between your vehicle and any others.  While you wait in the comfort of your car, we will call you on your cell phone to discuss your pet's recent history, the veterinarian's findings, and recommendations,  and collect payment. Then we will return your pet and any products to you.

If you prefer not to wait, please arrange for drop off and pick up time when scheduling your appointment.

For MEDICATION requests: Please try to notify us at least 5 business days ahead for refills. Deliveries may be delayed during this time. Please use your PetSites refill request, email (mailmyvet@gmail.com) or text (678-929-5935). Please be very specific in your requests: when will you run out of the med? Exactly how are you giving the med at this time? What quantity would you like to pick up? Once Dr. Dunn has reviewed and approved your request and meds are ready for pick up - Liz will contact you for payment over the phone and explain the pick-up process.

Curbside and drop-off services are being offered to limit your public exposure and still maintain your pet's veterinary care. Think of them as VIP valet service for your pet! We are limiting entry into the building to Liz, Dr Dunn and only clients with euthanasia services.

If you or anyone with you are feeling under the weather yourself, (at ANY time, not just during Covid-19) we ask you to please take very special precautions, for the safety of our staff, our clients, our patients - and for your own health, as well.

If you are feeling at all unwell or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please either

- Arrange for someone else to bring your pet in, or
- If your pet is scheduled for a wellness visit and isn’t sick, please call us to reschedule your appointment. You won’t be penalized for canceling an appointment due to illness or possible exposure.

We have always had extensive daily cleaning protocols that keep our facilities clean and sanitary. In addition to our regular cleaning we have also added additional disinfecting protocols for extra protection, per the CDC's recommendations.

Thank you very much for working with us while we find ways to continue caring for our patients while keeping everyone healthy and safe. Please call us as we would be happy to answer any questions!
